Today we caught a tuna! When I say "we" I give credit to my crew Oskar
and Jade for bringing the gear, launching a lure over the stern, and
landing a 80cm skipjack tuna. The first bits are being prepared now as
sashimi and we have about half a dozen bags of cutlets and tuna steaks
going into the freezer. The remainder is dinner tonight. Bandit is
enjoying a few small offcuts of course. A messy job slicing and
filleting on deck but job done and now I'm hungry.
(I just checked that I can safely make this post, we're now in
international waters outside of the NZ EEZ).
